The 12th Art for Children in Need campaign supporting adolescents at risk is launched
On the day of St. Luka - the patron saint of the artists, St. St. Constantine and Helena ” Foundation announced the beginning of the 12th charity initiative“ Art for Children in Need ”, in support of children, youth and disadvantaged girls and boys. The campaign supporting adolescents at risk has existed since 2009 and is realized by selling works of art from the catalog of the Foundation - paintings, graphics, drawings, small sculptures, photographs and icons, donated in whole or in part by authors and galleries on behalf of the children. The charity initiative is active online. Works can be purchased in the e-shop at https://foundation.bg/art-donation or on Facebook at http://bit.ly/2fa6ZGq.
This year the campaign is accompanied by a new initiative - for the children from CNST "Izgrev", CNST "Drugarche" and CSOP "St. St. Cyril and St. Methodius ”in the village of Krivnya are organized creative workshops for handmade Christmas cards, which in December will be included in online sales as part of the charity campaign. Those wishing to support the initiative can also choose a work from the group exhibition "Art for Children in Need", which will be exhibited from November 30, 2020 to January 30, 2021 at the Graphite Gallery in Varna. The campaign is for the benefit of over 100 disadvantaged children from Varna and the region. The funds raised are spent purposefully - for the educational needs of children, for their participation in projects and courses, for the organization of their free time, for a better living environment and personal comfort.
